User Privilege Descriptions

This is a listing of the User Privileges and their descriptions. User privileges can be restricted/granted to individual Blueprint users.

Create client Create a new patient
Order new aid Create a patient-specific hearing aid order
Sell items Sell non-hearing aid items
Return items Return accessories/batteries/hearing aids/services
Update prices Update hearing aid prices and edit non-hearing aid items
Marketing View marketing campaigns
Deactivate client Mark patients inactive/deceased
Maintain physicians Create/edit family physicians
Maintain insurers Create/edit insurance companies
Regenerate invoices Enables “Regenerate invoice(s)” button
Scheduling Create/view appointments
Receive payment Receive patient payments/deposits
Electronic billing Electronic billing for Canadian clinics (Canada ONLY)
Pricing update Accept Canadian-released catalog updates (Canada ONLY)
Enter bank deposits Deposit payments
Clear undeposited payments Enables “Clear” button in “Enter bank deposits”
View all location Option for <All> in location drop-down
Enter 3p payment Enter insurance payments
Edit client payment Edit/delete a patient payment
Edit return Edit a return credit memo
Clear any claims Clear Canadian-specific electronic claims
Maintain referrer types Create/edit referrer types and referral sources
All location as default <All> location is the default location when first logging in
Issue client refund Create a patient refund
Write off invoice Write off a patient or insurer invoice
Manage Recalls Create/edit patient recalls
Maintain marketing groups Create/edit marketing groups

Adjust stock Add existing stock to inventory without posting to accounting system (Inventory –> Add stock)
Accounts payable Enter vendor bills

Edit prescriber/fitter details Edit the prescriber/fitter on hearing aid sale
