Blueprint Solutions complies with HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act), and other privacy regulations. We regularly monitor and update our security measures, including ensuring that data hosting meets regional requirements.
How is my data protected?
All communications are 128-bit encrypted, which is a secure way of transmitting data from your computer to our servers.
Our AWS data centers feature:
- 24x7x365 staffed security
- Biometric security on ingress/egress points, with swipe card access within the data center
- CCTV monitoring
- Redundant power sources as well as redundant backup power generators
- Redundant network fabric and upstream connections to the internet backbone
Our servers and other technical infrastructure are protected from network intrusion using firewalls and other means.
What security is setup for users and how fast can you revoke access?
A user password secures access to the system. A user can be deactivated by the client’s Blueprint OMS administrator (or the password can be reset), and this is effective immediately. Access to the system can also be restricted by IP address if desired.
All user activity is logged, and users are only granted access from one PC at a time to ensure unique logging of HIPAA regulated data.
